A dramatic piece about grasping something that constantly slips away. The image of a mirage came to mind: an illusory, unattainable distant pool of water and/or the appearance of objects bent and inverted. First recorded by Jenny McLeod-Sneyd (French horn) and Jeremy Eskenazi (piano).
